Actually, my theory is Spider-Man (and many superheroes like him) are actually able to do all kinds of weird shit like telekinesis, telepathy, precognition, clairvoyance, etc. However, the same mutated dna / cosmic radiation / whatever that gave them these amazing powers also weakened their minds to the point where their sanity hangs by a thread. Spider-Man could use his telekinesis to fly, crush cars, or make an enemy's heart stop inside his chest, but since it was a radioactive spider that bit him and not a radioactive pterodactyl he believes that his abilities only enable him to do spider-like things. In reality, he also has the ability to predict the future and summon spirits from beyond the grave, but he just uses these to 'sense' when he is in imminent danger and shoot ectoplasmic webs at people (those web shooters he supposedly invented are just figments of his warped mind).

To those who still deludedly think they prefer Star Wars over Ghostbusters, all I need do is ask you this: you don’t really want to be a Jedi, do you? In a greige cowl, getting off with your sister, without a single gag across three films? I think if you thought about it a little while longer, you’d realise that you’d far rather be a Ghostbuster: a nerd in New York with an unlicensed nuclear accelarator on your back, and a one in four chance of being Bill Murray.
Sorry Star Wars fans, but Ghostbusters is the best film ever made | Caitlin Moran - Times Online

You should check out the third part of this video. Eerie similarity? I think that's a check.

(It's a part of an architecture model that a friend of mine and I printed on the metalab's reprap three weeks ago. Here's the finished thing.)

Hay gurl, you must be an Einstein-Rosen bridge because I'd like to come inside you and then be somewhere else.

After an inordinate amount of discussions, both in public and privately, on the situation regarding codecs for <video> and <audio> in HTML5, I have reluctantly come to the conclusion that there is no suitable codec that all vendors are willing to implement and ship.

I have therefore removed the two subsections in the HTML5 spec in which codecs would have been required, and have instead left the matter undefined, as has in the past been done with other features like <img> and image formats, <embed> and plugin APIs, or Web fonts and font formats.
